Under the hood
How the desk works.
No black box. This is what TRIAD reads, what it computes, how it argues, and what it honestly can’t know.
The two disciplines.
Every read the desk produces stands on both. The numbers show what is happening. Sentiment shows why, and how crowded the trade is.
Quantitative analysis
Price structure, momentum, trend versus the 100 day average, funding rates, open interest, protocol usage. Every figure is computed from live data. The desk is never allowed to eyeball a chart.
Sources
Market data
Live prices, candles, funding rates and open interest, straight from the OKX exchange feed. The same market your money sits on, not a delayed copy.
Protocol usage
Total value locked per protocol from DefiLlama. Real usage cuts through price noise: a coin pumping while its usage drains is a different story from one growing quietly.
Public sentiment
What the market believes, hopes and fears. Measured, weighed and summarized into verdicts, because crowded trades behave differently. You never receive a raw feed.
Sources
News articles
The primary source. Headlines across major outlets, refreshed all day and read by the desk. You get one line verdicts, never a raw feed.
Community narratives, counted and quoted. Stories form in forums before they become headlines.
Xcoming
Trader chatter and the momentum of attention. Coming to the desk.
Fear & Greed Index
One daily number for the crowd's temperature. Measuring fear beats feeling it.
Always on
It reads the whole market, every few minutes.
The desk never waits to be asked. Around the clock it sweeps the top 150 coins and sorts noise into signal, so nothing moves without it noticing.
Momentum radar
What is already running, so you are never the last to know a coin is moving.
Early movers
Coins just turning up from their lows, the interesting ones, before the crowd arrives.
Real usage
On-chain value locked and its weekly change, so a price pumping with no users behind it gets caught.
The mood
Fear and greed, funding, positioning: how crowded a trade is, measured not felt.
The conversation
What forums and news are actually talking about, counted rather than guessed.
All of that runs whether you are watching or not. The moment you connect your account, it stops being general market noise and starts being pointed at your book: your coins, your levels, your risk.
Then seven seats argue about it.
Data doesn’t become advice until it survives the desk. Every call runs the same gauntlet:
- 1
Gather
Every source above, pulled fresh. Prices computed, news digested, sentiment measured.
- 2
Analysis team
The Macro Analyst reads the cycle. The Tape Analyst reads the moment. Neither may touch the other's horizon, and each must state what would prove them wrong.
- 3
The debate
The Bull builds the honest case for acting. The Bear builds the honest case against. Both argue from the analysts' ground truth.
- 4
Control
The Risk Manager sizes it or vetoes it. No move without an exit plan. The Red Team assumes it already failed and hunts for the reason.
- 5
The verdict
The Chair weighs it all and delivers one plain call, with the disagreement kept on the record.
- 6
You
It lands as a five minute briefing or a decision card with the order prepared. Nothing moves without your approval.
Deciding without knowing everything.
Here is the honest part most services skip: nobody knows everything, including this desk. Markets pay for good decisions made under uncertainty, not for certainty, which doesn’t exist. So the desk binds itself to three rules:
- Every analyst states what would prove them wrong. In writing, every time.
- Every position is sized so that being wrong is survivable. Always.
- Disagreement stays on the record. When the Bear’s level prints, it becomes your plan B, not a buried mistake.
Anyone who promises certainty in a market is selling it to you. The desk promises something real instead: full attention, honest arguments, and your final say on everything.
